Reverend Dr. Cameron Wesley JacksonSPARTANBURG, SC-- Reverend Dr. Cameron Wesley Jackson, of 114 White Oak Road, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 17, 2012. Dr. Jackson was the husband of Mrs. Margaret Brown Jackson. He was the son of the late Dr. E. Franklin Jackson and Mrs. Mildred Dodson Jackson. Dr. Jackson was a native of Chattanooga, TN. He was a retired minister of the AME Zion Church.Dr. Jackson was a graduate of Hood Theological Seminary, Salisbury, NC, Livingston College, Salisbury, NC and Dunbar High School, Washington, DC.Survivors include: his wife; four sons: Stephen W. Jackson (Rita), Michael C. Jackson, David C. Jackson, and Rev. Charles H. Jackson Sr.; and four grandchildren.Memorial services will be held Tuesday September 25th, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Pastor Edward L. Surratt will officiate.Viewing will be held Sunday evening, September 23, 2012, at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.The family will receive friends at the home.J.
