In Loving Memory of Deandre Maurice Clyburn Jr.
Deandre Maurice Clyburn Jr., known to his loved ones as Deandre, passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 18. Born on December 1, 2005, in Youngstown, OH, Deandre was the beloved son of Deandre Clyburn Sr. and Pamela Johnson.
An aspiring rapper, Deandre used the stage name Bank Roll SD. He had created a significant fanbase with subscribers on his YouTube channel. His creative collaborations remain available. He had a passion for music and poured his heart into his lyrics.
Besides rapping, he had a love for swimming and spending time fishing with his family. Deandre had a zest for life and his infectious energy touched the hearts of all those who knew him. As a child, he attended Holy Bible Church of God. He was also employed at Dunkin Donuts providing friendly customer service.
When he wasn't pursuing his musical dreams, Deandre enjoyed playing football while attending Loweville High School. Deandre had recently completed the requirements for graduation from the Academy of Urban Scholars High School. He will be conferred his diploma posthumously at the 2024 Spring Commencement Exercises.
Deandre will be forever cherished by his family, including his parents, as well as stepfathers Joseph Haskins Dawson and Lynel Johnson, who played a significant influence in his life. Deandre leaves also leaves behind his loving sisters, Daija Clyburn of Youngstown, and Nyla Johnson of Columbus as well as his brothers, Joseph Haskins Dawson Jr. of Youngstown, and Lynel Johnson III of Columbus.
In addition to his immediate family, Deandre will be fondly remembered by his grandmothers Pamela Talley and Elsa Bunn, both of Youngstown; aunts Jamesina Holness, Kenya Jones, Alana (Derrick) Oliver and Brieauna Bunn all of Youngstown; uncles Devin Jones of Arlington VA, Archie “Jennifer” Stanford Jr., Alexander Clyburn, Brailyn Bunn and Phillips Turner all of Youngstown, cousins Damico Jackson, Damico Jackson; Dailene Jackson; Ellis Jackson; Malayja Jackson; Archie Stanford Jr; Aaliyah Blinsky and a host of other cousins. He will be deeply missed by a score of other relatives and friends, all who held him dear.
DeAndre was preceded in death by his grandfathers George Dorsey and Archie Stanford Sr. and his maternal & paternal great grandparents.
A Celebration of Life service to celebrate Deandre's life will be held in the chapel of the J.E. Washington Funeral Services, 2234 Glenwood Ave in Youngstown on Monday February 19, 2024, at 12 noon will be officiated by Rev. Lewis W. Macklin II. Prior to the service, a public viewing will take place at 11:00 am, providing an opportunity for all who loved Deandre to pay their respects. His remarkable spirit and infectious laughter will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
