Ms. Helen P. Shearin, age 68, of Horsecreek Drive, Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

A celebration of life for Ms. Helen P. Shearin will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, North Carolina. Bishop J. Terrell Alston will deliver the eulogy and interment will follow at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 874 Waverly Thompson Rd. Macon, North Carolina.

Helen leaves many to cherish her loving memory. They are: her loving daughter, Tanesha La'Twan Shearin of Norlina; her loving son and "home-buddy", Bryan "Grandpa" Shearin of Warrenton; three precious grandsons, Tyler La'Mar Durham, Savion La'Vonte' and Joshua La'Trell Shearin; her loving sister, Annie "Jean" Stevenson Jones; loving nephews Arnie Stevenson, Greg Stevenson, Wayne Shearin and Monte' Stevenson; god children, Eric King, Christina Kearney, William Hargrove, Darrell Hargrove, Myisha Kearney and Z'Quan Jones; her phone buddy, Sylvia "Sis" Powell; Diane Presley who was like a sister, Da'Quon Harrington who was like her grandson; special friends, Loretta Gordan, Ann Foster, Jeanette Greene, and Roberta "Omommy" Scott; and many, many cousins, relatives and friends.

Ms. Helen P. Shearin may be viewed on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 1PM-5PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Service.

May the God of comfort, comfort your family in this time of need.🥀Also, the grandkids Tyler, Savion and the baby boy, although not old enough to realize exactly why she's no longer with them, will certainly miss her presence.
