Lamont I miss you more than words could ever express. My heart hurts and yearns to just hug you and see your face one more time. What I do know is you are safe now. In a place where there is no more worry, no suffering, just peace, love and happiness. You were an angel on earth and I know you will always watch over us. Just reading all of these memories shows us how wonderful you are. An absolute blessing that never wavered no matter what. The amount of lives you touched and will continue to touch is astounding. Love you to the moon and back. And will cherish our memories forever and ever. Your TiTiπππππ½ππ½ποΈποΈ

I can find no words, but I offer this poem for Lamont and for your broken hearts... I will lend you, for a little time, A child of mine, He said. For you to love the while he lives, And mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years, Or twenty-two or three. But will you, till I call him back, Take care of him for Me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, And should his stay be brief. You'll have his lovely memories, As solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay, Since all from earth return. But there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I've looked the wide world over, In search for teachers true. And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love, Nor think the labour vain. Nor hate me when I come To take him home again? I fancied that I heard them say, 'Dear Lord, Thy will be done!' For all the joys Thy child shall bring, The risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter him with tenderness, We'll love him while we may, And for the happiness we've known, Forever grateful stay. But should the angels call for him, Much sooner than we've planned. We'll brave the bitter grief that comes, And try to understand. Edgar A. Guest (1881-1959). For Lamont, with Love

Lamont was an amazing young man. His bright soul and big heart was shown on and off the field to many of his friends and family. His spirit and bright smile will forever be etched in my heart and my memory. I love him and wish I could have been there more to watch him conquer the game of football and in life. I know you are watching over your brother and sisters and I know you have your angel wings wrapped around your mom holding her close letting her know you are watching over your family and you are happy. We miss you and love you Lamont always and forever your Uncle Matthew, Sisters Alayla and Allana, your Brother Zeke, Your Mother Jennifer we hold you in our hearts forever.R.I.P Nephew

Oh, how my heart hurts for all that loved Lamont. Prayers for his family as they grieve. Madison Middle will never be the same without you. You were loved by many.

I didn't know Lamont but my friends did. He went to Madison middle and he played football. Some said he never talked but when he did he was the sweetest soul ever. I got up this morning and my friend texted me and told me the news. Even though I didn't know him I still know what it feels like to go through mental health and depression. He was too young. It breaks my heart everytime I think about it. I just can't stop crying. They said he committed suicide. I just know whatever was going through his mind at that point. He's never going to be able to go to prom, college or play football anymore. His life is over it's just done. I am praying for his family and his close friends. As much as this has hurt me and I don't even know him I know this is truly breaking everyone's heart. He was only a middle schooler. No middle schooler should be going through this. They should never be thinking of death at their age. This action has affected everyone and I know it. Im praying for everyone and hoping they all recover from this heartbreak. I love everyone, you are loved and wanted.π

Lamont has always been an amazing brother and best friend to me. Not to mention he is a great son, older brother, younger brother, friend, nephew, grandson, cousin, etc. He is a protector by nature, a great listener and shoulder, a leader, an intellectual, a gentleman, always a helping hand, and such a genuine soul. It is an honor to have known him, to love him, and to witness him grow into the man he became. Now we all get to witness the legacy he is leaving behind. Lamont is an angel sent from heaven and a beacon of light, especially with that contagious smile! I know he is watching over all of us and being the protector he has always been, just from above. I miss you so much lil bro and i love you forever and always. LLL β€οΈποΈ

Lamont was a dear and cherished friend to my boy. We've had the pleasure to get to know the young man as he spent time with our son during visits and several outings we took together. He had a quiet demeanor and warm smile. I enjoyed watching him grow up into the young man he became. We loved to cheer him on as he ran for those touchdowns. His loss is an unspeakable tragedy and we will miss him dearly. I'll be praying for the family as they try to endure their loss.
