Obituary For Harry Truman Brown

MR. HARRY TRUMAN BROWN – AGE 75, Of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was born on July 6, 1948 to the late Charlie Brown, Sr. and Nellie B. Brown. He was preceded by his wife Betty Taylor Brown, four brothers, Charlie Brown, Jr., Dennis Brown, Johnny Brown, Cleotis Brown, and one sister, Geneva Smith. He graduated from Sumter County Training School in Epes, Alabama. Two children were born to his marriage union to Betty Taylor Brown. He retired from Rossville Paving Company and a United States Army Veteran and was Honorably Discharged.

Survivors are his loving and devoted children, daughter, Anisha Brown of Chatsworth, Georgia; son, Aaron (Michelle) Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee; six grandchildren, one great grandchild; three sisters-in-law, Grace Brown, Alice Faye Brown, Christine Taylor Bell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr., Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721 with Pastor Jeffery T. Wilson as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Interment, Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:30 A. M. with Honorary Military Rites. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
