Obituary For Nasir Shimeik Hagan

Funeral service for Nasir Hagan, 21, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m. (CST), Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Marvyn Community), 908 Huguley Road, Opelika, AL, 36804 with interment in the Church Cemetery, Reverend Quincy Dorsey, Pastor and Officiating, Reverend Daniel Wilborn III, Eulogist.

Mr. Hagan, who passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, in Auburn, Alabama, was born March 19, 2002 in Newark, New Jersey.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 2, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Hagan will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Annika Le'Tess Reece of Phenix City, AL; grandmother, Carolyn Reece of Opelika, AL; three aunts, Tracy Reece of Batavia, NY, Kimberly Reece of Lanham, MD and Jasmine Hagan of Greenville, SC; two great-uncles, Willie James Reese of Bronx, NY and Willie Ferrell Reese of Opelika, AL; one great-aunt, Brenda (David) Ashby of East Orange, NJ; a host of other relatives and friends.
