Randolph Kelvin Truesdale

Randolph Kelvin Truesdale, 66, left his earthly house on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center. He was the son of Columbus (Boo) Truesdale, Jr. and Joan Patterson Truesdale, they both preceded him in death.

Randolph graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Kershaw, South Carolina in the class of 1975 and completed a bachelor's degree in business administration at Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina. After which he served in the United States Marine Corps and Honorably Discharged with a Rifle Marksman Badge, a Letter of Appreciation, Good Conduct Medal and a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He gave his heart to Jesus and proved it by his services to people. He loved to have fun and he had an enthusiastic sense of humor. He was an entrepreneur for over forty years and shared his many gifts and talents in art, building, barbering and constructing. He readily helped many people in Heath Springs, Kershaw and Lancaster, South Carolina community.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Julia Seegars-Truesdale of the home; two sons, Randolph (Randy) Kelvin Truesdale, Jr., (Shanesha) of Indian Land, South Carolina and S. Juwaun Seegars, (Kristin) of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Viktor K. Truesdale of Indian Land, South Carolina, Rylan Seegars, Alyssa A. Seegars and Vivian R. Seegars of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers; Morris Truesdale (Inez) and Regan Truesdale (Carol) both Heath Springs, South Carolina; three sisters, Deborah Truesdale of Heath Springs, South Carolina, Felicia Walsh (Andrew) of Camden, South Carolina and Minister Kimberly Truesdale of Rock Hill, South Carolina; two uncles, Otis Patterson and Jerry Patterson; two aunts; Loree Johnson and Geralene Patterson; one brother-in-law; Donell Seegars (Opal) of Bryant, Texas; three sister-in-laws; Alice Campbell (Clarence) of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Linda Smith and Barbara Seegars of Lancaster, South Carolina. He had a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly. A brother, Randolph Truesdale and a sister Patricia Truesdale preceded him in death.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, February 02, 2024 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster, South Carolina officiating by the Reverend Loman Jones.

Viewing will be 1-3pm, Friday, February 02, 2024, at the McMullen Funeral Home.

The burial will be private.
