Obituary For Ms. Jeanneta Little

The Life Journey for Jeanetta Little began on September 20, 1941 in Morven, North Carolina. She was born to the late Theodore and Lessie Sturdivant Little. To their union was born nine children. Jeanetta’s life journey came to a sudden, quiet and peaceful closure on January 26, 2024 at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Thomasville, North Carolina. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Jeanetta received her education in the Anson County School System.

Jeanetta worked and retired from Cuddy Farms Poultry in Marshville, NC after 37 years of service.

She was a faithful and lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was a dedicated member of the Missionary Board, Usher Board and Choir. She served until her health declined. Her favorite hobbies were fishing and playing Bingo. She also loved to cook.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, the late Theodore Little and Lessie Sturdivant Little; one son, Charles Little; one grandson, Atravis Little; two brothers, Theodore Little Jr. and John Lester Little; three sisters, Lorine Green, Corine McRae and Ruth Thomas. She leaves to mourn her death three siblings: Delorse Little, Thelma Payne and Alvin Little.

She is survived by one daughter, Bernice Little (James); one granddaughter, Denie (Earnest) Green; five great grandsons, Nijhi Allen-Skeen, Ja’veon Little, Dah’Qwagein Sims all of Thomasville, North Carolina, Chozen Little and Daveon Green of High Point, North Carolina; two great granddaughters, Justyce Green of High Point, North Carolina and Nireviah Little-Sims of Thomasville, North Carolina; two special nephews, Jovan Pratt and Chuckie Little and two special nieces, Wanda Phillips and Arnette Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she loved dearly. Two lifelong friends, Pearlie Mae Melton and Lillie Mae Wall; cousins, relatives and many friends.

The Services to Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Ms. Little will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024, 11:00am, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of Galilee AME Zion Church, McFarlan, North Carolina.

The public viewing will be on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 1:30-5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.

The Little Family will be receiving friends at the residence of Mrs. Arnnette Taylor, 193 Cason McLaurin Road, Morven, North Carolina.
