Crown was a friend, and someone who taught me about the music business. I will never forget the days he would be promoting an artist and all the things that could go wrong, Crown always knew what to do. I learned so much from him. Crown, may you rest now in the arms of God my friend. I am so happy our souls met in this lifetime. Pamela Douglas-Alvarado

Crown was the best R&B promotion person I ever worked with. He schooled me once I arrived in South Florida in 1980 and continued to do so for years to come. He was "salt of the earth". God bless and peace be with you my friend. Steve Jones, Sandy Springs, GA

To an awesome community leader and mentor, Mr. Mckinley Williams, Sr. "Crown Prince". He has always done his best to help others, like me. He was instrumental in helping me get my college scholarship to Clark Atlanta University. Mr. Williams was there for me when I lost my grandmother in 1990. He helped me understand why it was important for me to go back and finish college. Mr. Williams and his family have always treated me like a part of the family. I stayed in contact with him throughout my life. He will be truly missed, and you will always be remembered. To my mentor, the Crown Prince, thank you and rest well (signing off). Love, Quincy Woodard and Family.
