Obituary For Susie Berry

Susie Berry 85, of Henrico, departed this life January 22, 2024. She was born on June 2, 1938 in Monroe, Va., to the late Merchant and Hattie Jones Berry and later moved to Richmond, Va. Susie was very much in touch with her creative side. She really enjoyed dancing to all types of music, as well as crafting jewelry in her spare time. Susie loved going to church and being around her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Mary Person; one granddaughter, Keisha Person; a brother, Ernest Berry (Mae), of Lynchburg, Va. a host of nieces and nephews, one devoted niece, Diane Brown of Boonsboro, Va. other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 27, at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment private. Brother, Anthony Stevenson, officiating.
