He is survived by his daughters, Nova Riggs, Raleigh, NC, Karen Midgett, Jacqueline Fortune, Cassandra Adams Delaney all of New Bern; son, Brian Midgett, Sr., Maryland; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren.
