Joe Samuel Hollis of Quitman, Georgia passed away on January 8, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.

Sam was born on November 24, 1949 to the late France and Viola Hollis.

He is survived by his 3 children: Lamar Hollis (Catherine) of Riviera Beach, FL; JC Hollis (Shironda) of Inland Empire, CA; and Inez Walker of Hahira, GA; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings: Betty Lanier, (Sam) of Riviera Beach, FL; France Hollis Jr (Martha) of West Palm Beach, FL; Rosa Peak-Chavez of Lake Worth, FL; Marguerite Page of Quitman, GA; Robert Hollis of Thomasville, GA; Johnny Hollis of Boston, GA; and Dorothy Buteau (Bernard) of Lake Worth, FL.

He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sam was preceded in death by 1 sister and 5 brothers.

Public Viewing: Friday, January 19, 2024 from 1:00-6:00PM

Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Joe Samuel Hollis will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel.
