It was with deepest sorrow that Lavender's Funeral Service announced the passing of MR. TOMMY LEE “D-BYE” McMULLEN, 64 of Aliceville, Alabama on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Tommy McMullen was Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Tommy Lee McMullen of Aliceville, Alabama was Friday, January 19, 2024, 12:00 Noon at Spirit & Truth Pentecostal Church, 2717 MLK Road in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. McMullen was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT was in Bigbee Baptist Church Cemetery, 2988 County Road 78also in Aliceville, Alabama. Apostle Jeffery Ball, Sr., Pastor of Spirit & Truth Pentecostal Church in was The Eulogist.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Tommy; death is such an ugly enemy that robs us of times with our loved ones. I would like to comfort the family with a scripture found at Acts 24:15, which reads: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". What is this scripture saying? One day soon, all of our loved ones who have died will rise from the grave and be resurrected, no matter if they practiced good or bad. Yes, you will see Tommy again!
