Dear BJ, In celebration of your grandmother's life and home-going, I pray that the Lord will give you all that you need to bare the pain of her departure from her earthly home. Juanita was my dear, dear friend and sister-in-Christ. We worshipped and served the Lord together in churches and the community for years. She lived a servant's life to its fullest. Your grandmother was devoted to her family. I recall all the years she drove from Maryland to Durham every weekend after work to check on her mother. BJ, you were her pride and joy!! Seldom did talk without her telling me something about you! The Bible says that "God himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes". This Scripture lets us know what heaven will be like, but more importantly, it tell us WHO we will be with--spending eternity with Him. Take comfort in knowing that your grandmother had a long, well-lived life, is at peace, and is now resting in the place that God prepared for her. May God grace you with his presence and love in the days ahead as you mourn your grandmother's passing. La Forest Faulkner Silver Spring, MD

Soror Juanita Jordan! A Woman of grace, beauty and intellect!!! I was introduced to her by James "Jimmy" Young in Maryland. She was faithful and such a Mother figure in his life. Upon her return home from years of living in Washington, DC, our Delta bond became special to both of us. We chatted on the phone often. I started sending her cards and she always let me know how much she enjoyed them! Mrs. Jordan loved her son and his wife. She always mentioned them when we talked. Family! She was a jewel and a blessing! Love my Soror♥️🔺♥️ Dr. Phyllis Joyner
