To the Walker Family: With heavy hearts we take this time to express our condolences to the family of David L Walker. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this time of great sadness. May all grieving hearts continue to draw comfort in knowing that God has neither forgotten us, or our departed loved ones. God has provided us with comfort from the scriptures in knowing that soon all forms of sicknesses and death will be done away with. (Revelation 21:3-4) However, God comfort to us does not stop there. In His great love for us, He reveals a promise that speaks about the resurrection blessing from God. The promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. The verses states that very soon God would use His great powers to cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Yes, persons like David, and a great host of others will benefit from this future blessing from God by having their lives restored back to them. Until this arrangement begins to take place, we can use this time to learn all that we can about the resurrection blessing from God. There are nine accounts that speaks about the restoring of life from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that the Walker family will get a chance to see how these verses supplies true comfort to your grieving hearts. So, in closing we encourage all to please keep these verses near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
