Our heart felt condolences go out to the Bunch family. Sidney was one of my favorite Basketball officials as a young girl. He officiated the high school game in (1983) in which I broke my leg. He also, checked on my status after the game. My husband (Don) and Sydney were Co-worker at Metro Schools. We were both honored to reconnect with him and his family during AAU basketball season. DON, Coached his son. We are very blessed to have been touched by Mr. Bunch. He can now go and take his rest for a job well done here on Earth. Don and Toni Woods

To The Bunch Family Very Very Sorry For Your Loss (From James Harlan ,Franklin Tenn)

It is with heart felt sympathy in offering my condolences to the Bunch family with the loss of Sydney T. Bunch111. I served as mentor and MTBOA supervisor during Sydney's early stages of his career along with Dr. Harry Beamon who was instrumental in getting Sydney started in officiating. Sydney paid his officiating dues and earned every accolade in officiating by working his way through the high school and collegiate ranks to the distinct honor of officiating the NCAA Women's Finals. Our friendship/relationship was indeed greater than officiating ties because of our high school relationship and community ties. We lost a great person who gave back a lot to those persons he interacted with socially and professionally. I am grateful to God for allowing my and Sydney's paths to cross. God knew best and he makes no mistakes. Charles E. Watkins, Jr.

Sidney was one of my best friend we road up and down the roads together to call games . I was reading the Christmas card from him and Karen that they had sent me this year and to hear that he had passed was very shocking, I will always remember him as a great friend . Coach Dorris Armstrong
