Obituary For Kelvin Thomas

Kelvin ThThomas was born on September 20, 1974, to beloved mother, Mattie Thomas, and loving parents, Godfrey (Laura) Thomas. At an early age, Kelvin joined Union Baptist Church and attended during his youth. Later, he attended Simmon Hill Missionary Baptist Church with his cousin James Huewitt, Jr.


Kelvin graduated from Brooks County High School 1994 and ventured out to work. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, video games, but mostly his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.


He passed from this earthly life on December 17, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved mother, Mattie ThThomas and loving parents, Godfrey (Laura) ThThomas; three sisters, Mellisa McKinnon (Arlester), Telesha ThThomas, and Angela (Reginald) Walker; two brothers, Timothy ThThomas and Fred (Nadia) ThThomas; one brother, Jeremy Thomas preceded him in death; one aunt, Betty Bartee; one uncle, Terrell Thomas; and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins; and four loving friends, Dale Washington, James Huewitt, Jr., Tory Thomas, and Shalonda Spencer.


Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 12PM-7PM.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 3PM at Simmon Hill MB Church with Rev. James Huewitt, officiating. Burial will follow in North End Cemetery. Visit our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
