Mr. Willie Dan “Boo” Howard, 73, son of the late Mr. Luther and Mrs. Florella McCray Howard, was born September 26, 1950, in Macon County, Alabama.
At an early age he confessed Christ and united with Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Auburn, Alabama where he was a member of the Male Chorus.
“Boo”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends enjoyed singing, dancing and being around family. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Auburn “War Eagle” football.
On Sunday, December 10, 2023, he departed this life at his home in Auburn, Alabama. He was preceded in death by three siblings: William Howard, James Howard and Leslie Howard.
Public viewing will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Bernice Guice of Auburn, AL; three children, Antonio (DeVon) Howard of Monroe, LA, James (Kanisha) Howard of Auburn, AL and Craig Hicks of Alexander City, AL; step-daughter, Valerie Davidson of Montgomery, AL; a host of grandchildren; one brother, Luther Howard of Auburn, AL; one sister, Barbara Scott of Conyers, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
