Obituary For Henry Lincoln Chandler, Jr.

Henry L. Chandler, Jr. 74 of Walnut Cove, NC passed Monday, December 18, 2023. Public viewing will be Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Withers Chapel Church, 2793 Pine Hall Rd., Belews Creek, NC with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt Sinai (Fulp Family Cemetery) Pine Hall Road, Belews Creek, NC.

Henry Lincoln Chandler, Jr., son of the late Henry L. Chandler, Sr. and Vera F. Chandler was born in Forsyth County on September 21, 1949. He departed this life on December 18, 2023 after a long illness at Walnut Cove Health Care.

Henry attended Withers Chapel and was a member of the MelloTones, a gospel group where he loved to sing. He was educated in Forsyth County School System. He worked at Foremost Inc., Stokesdale, NC where he was a supervisor and Dillard Paper Company in Greensboro, NC where he was a truck driver. He loved working on cars in his leisure time.

Henry was also preceded in death by his wife; Beverly F. Chandler and son, Shannon J. Chandler.

Leaving to honor his loving memory: His sister; Kathy C. Wadelington of Walkertown, NC, also, Keith Chandler of Walkertown, NC, David Chandler of Orlando, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Perry Spencer Funeral Homes requires that FACE MASK be worn when entering the facility of our locations.
