William Briggs, Jr., 71, died Saturday, December 2, 2023 at his residence in New York. He was born July 11, 1952 in Summerton, SC. A son of the late William and Clara Boyd-Briggs, Sr.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the home of his sister, Thomasine Briggs,1050CarterRoad, Summerton, SC.
