Bishop Lonnie M. Braswell, 71, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023
Funeral service 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 702 West Raleigh Boulevard, Rocky Mount, NC 27803 where Reverend Dr. Thomas L. Walker is the Pastor, with Reverend Dr. John Wooten, officiating and Reverend Dr. Dayhige Wright, eulogist. Burial will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.
Visitation 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023 at Light of Peace Baptist Church, 510 S. Glendale Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27801
Service will be Livestream via Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, NC YouTube and Facebook.

My Dear Uncle was a huge light in this world to so many and I am forever grateful for his presence in our family. I remember him bringing me a Christmas gift in the cold and snow when I was about 1 or 2 years old to the family farm of his in-laws.
