Obituary For Robert Jackson

(March 4, 1948 — December 2, 2023)

TYLER--Funeral services for Mr.Robert Jackson, 75, will be 1:30 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Hopewell Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Cross Jr. eulogist. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Jackson was born on March 4, 1948 in Smith County to the late Leroy and Mary Anderson Jackson. He attended school in Smith County and was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Mr. Jackson worked at Tyler Restaurant Supply and was owner of Jackson Cleaning Company.

He was preceded in death by one son and three sisters. Mr. Jackson is survived by his spouse: Mrs. Bobbie Jackson of Flint, Texas; sons: Tony Jackson and Michael Jackson both of Tyler, Texas; daughters: Schekatha (Jerry) Roberson and LaQuenda “Yvette” Jackson both of Flint, Texas; brothers: Albert Jackson and Ricky (Seneca) Spencer both of Tyler; sisters: Exerline (Raymond) Wesley of Winona, Doris “Tina” Wade, Evelyn Jackson, and Donna (Pastor Raymond Jr.) Cross all of Tyler; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
