John Mark Bumgardner, 59, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on December 6, 2023, in Rock Hill. Born on December 28, 1963, in Rock Hill, John, also known as Mark, was a loving and proud individual.
Mark was survived by his beloved wife, Jean Bumgardner, and their children: Kacy Bumgardner, Chris Morris, and Tommy Gregory. He was also a cherished grandfather to Grayson Bumgardner, Kaiden Minton, John Thomas "Lil' Tommy" Gregory, and Christopher Morris Jr. He is also survived by his siblings Charles Bumgardner, Patricia Bumgardner, and Shirley Crump. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, John William Bumgardner Jr. and Margaret Lucille Bumgardner, as well as his sibling, Lynn Corder.
Mark had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and softball player. He found solace in fishing and the thrill of riding motorcycles. These interests brought him joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared his passion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to join together to honor Mark's memory and share stories of his remarkable life.

I'm in shock to hear of this. I've known him since him and My best friend Jean got together and we sure had some wonderful times together. This man was a crazy funny person and was fun to be around. Hug your families tighter cause you never know when you will get a call about someone who has left earth. Such a surprise. You sure will be missed mark till we meet again see ya later buddy. Love you and so sorry that my best friend has to go through this was not expected. I wished I could be home to be there for jean while she's going through this.
