Obituary For Sandra Kaye McQueen
Mrs. Sandra Kaye Rush McQueen, 72, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in High Point.
Funeral service will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Sneed Grove AME Zion Church Cemetery, Ellerbe, NC. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. There will be no public viewing on Sunday.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.

Adrian and family we are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother and grand mother. Sandra will be so missed by us as she was the best neighbor you could ever be lucky enough to have. I can see her banging her cane on the sidewalk whenever she wanted to make her point and then laughing that wonderful laugh. I grew up knowing Sandra and the Rush family as well as I knew my own biological family. My mother, Faye McCombs, always said that she learned how to cook, dress up and how to be a woman (across the street) at Mrs Vestia's house. Sandra was with us in the limo as we rode my mother to her final resting place and we will be WHEREVER Adrienne and Fenny need us to be as they grieve. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Love......Chanel, Jacques, Latifah, Shaquille, Samuel II and Landon.

To the Mcqueen family I enjoyed the time me and Mrs McQueen spent at night over six years, going to High Point enterprise, and no matter what kind of web how we felt we were there. It was a blessing to be around her end of this conversation and listen to her come in faith about her kids, and how they was progressing, and some of the things good and bad, but we were there for each other to listen to each other whatever went in a days journey. I would truly miss her and I'm praying for the family with lots of love, Emma and kids

My condolence to my cousin, she will truly be missed me and her would throw the High Point enterprise at night and we enjoyed it sometime and get frustrated with it but we get up every night and just enjoyed each other and I will help as much as I could and just visiting with a each other at night was enjoyable I think God for her being there when we needed somebody at night.
