Obituary For Mary Louise Bellamy

Mary Louise Bellamy (Grandma) was born on April 25, 1923, to Carrie Bell Bellamy and Clarence Nicks. She danced with the King and his angels on Dec 4, 2023.

Mary was a devoted servant of the Lord through her ministry at Mt. Raymond Missionary Baptist Church. She glorified the Lord daily through her ministry and many contributions serving as an usher and gloried the Lord through her singing praise. She was an advocate for the community through several ventures communicating with community leaders from early years of farming and an entrepreneur in restaurant hospitality. She was best known for her fried chicken sandwiches and lemon poundcake.

Mary leaves this earthly world with loving memories – her two living sons Harrison Bellamy and Ola Pearl (wife) and Raymond Bellamy; Ulysses Bellamy and Tag Bellamy (brothers); Mattie Mae Mathis (sister). Thirty grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mary joins her predeceased loved ones – Charlie Bellamy (spouse), Loretta Bellamy, Charlie Mae Bess, Mary (Scott) Jenkins (daughters); Thomas Bellamy, Sylvester Bellamy, John Bellamy (Deborah – spouse), and Leroy Bellamy Sr. (sons).

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Fri., Dec.8, 2023 at Mount Raymond Full Gospel Baptist Church. Services will be held 2:00pm on Sat., Dec. 9, 2023 at Mount Raymond Full Gospel Baptist Church. Burial will be held at Skyway Memorial Garden.
