I didn't have a lot of time or memories with Big Daddy, but I will always remember the important lesson he taught me. I was always afraid of the bathroom in the basement because it was so dark. One night when I told him about my fear, he told me that I wasn't afraid of the dark, but I was afraid of what was in it, and he reminded me that there was nothing in there I needed to be afraid of. I don't know if he knew the lesson he taught me, but now when I find myself anxious of the unknown, I hear him telling me there isn't anything to be afraid of or worried about.
