A Military Service to Celebrate the life of Mr. John Turner will be held December 8, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at James and Virginia Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA
Interment will be held December 8, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Georgia Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA.
Public viewing will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.
John was born in Louisville, GA to the parentage of the now late Lonzie Turner and Martha Taylor Turner. If you knew John you had to love him. He was a “Jack of All Trades”, and was always compassionate and sharing laughter and love.
He made his transition on Sunday morning, December 3, 2023 in Emanuel County Hospital, Swainsboro, GA.
He felt his obligation to do his part in serving his country and in 1979 he entered the US Army. He received an Honorable Discharge in June 1983. He was a member of the American Legion Post #213 located in Bennettsville, SC

Antavious Tomlin A.k.A Budweiser John always makes sure everyone was took care of and I made sure that I took care of him and my mom Bae Bae gave up my own home for them to live a happy life because I care about them more than I did for myself my house became theirs for the rest of their lives I going to miss him so much 🥲😣☹️

He told me that he was proud of me keep them wondering Budweiser because everybody trying to figure out what I got going on and he said don't let your left hand know what your hand is doing hold it it the road keep God first everything is going to be alright I love you!
