Obituary For Eddie Tolbert

Mr. Eddie Tolbert, 70, of College Park, GA passed Thursday, November 23, 2023 in College Park, GA

Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm EST Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Andrew Chapel A.M.E Church Cemetery with Rev. Renee Adams, Pastor and Rev. Steven Faulk, officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 1-5 pm EST.

Mr. Eddie "Lock" Tolbert was born May 15,1953 to Rosie Lee Comer Tolbert and Fletcher Tolbert, Sr. in Russell County, Alabama.

"Lock" as he was affectionately known by his family and friends enjoyed listening to music and dancing but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. Always the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Mary Frances Collier, Rubie Lee Smith, Sadie Mae Eiland, Gennie Lou Alexander; and three brothers, Fletcher Tolbert, Jr., William Henry Tolbert and Oscar Tolbert.

Lock peaceful transition home to be with Lord on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at his residence.

Lock leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted sons, Rodney Luke, Cornelius (Charlitha) Tolbert; a daughter, Tasha Carnes; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Daisy Bellamy and Bernice Williams; one brother-in-law, Bobby Alexander; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,other relatives and friends.
