Gladys Mae Ashby Bryant, 74, of Henrico, died November 23, 2023. Surviving are her daughter, Shannon L. Bryant; mother, Dinella R. Ashby; two sisters, Diane Ashby and Gwendolyn Ashby; three brothers, Robert L. (Diane), Reginald and Allen (Miranda) Ashby; nieces, nephews, devoted friends, Ellen Johnson, Willeon Chew and Donna Carter; other relatives Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park, where viewing will be held Monday, December 4 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 5 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Ms. Gladys was a truly beautiful person. She was my mother & grandmother all in one. She put me in my place & I loved her for it!! I worked right next to her at Allianz Travel Insurance for a year. She made a huge impact on my life. She was honest, uplifting, fashionable, and a truly sincere person. I miss her. She was so proud of her daughter. My deepest Condolences to her family.
