Thelma Lee Bennett, 62, died Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Serenity Rehab and Health, Washington, DC. She was born June 10, 1961 in Clarendon County, SC. A daughter of Mattie Lee Bennett Witherspoon and the late George Wise, Jr.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00PM til 6:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, December 15, 2023 at Melina Presbyterian Church, Gable, SC. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
God's grace and peace to the family of my former East Clarendon High School student, Thelma. I remember Thelma as a gentle and kindhearted girl.
