Celebration of Life Services for Alton Jerome Stewart of Jackson, Georgia will be held Sunday, November 26, 2023, 1:00 PM at Rock Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2051 Hwy 42 South Flovilla, GA 30216. Reverend R.L. Henderson, Sr. Presider and Officiant.

Remains will be placed in-state at 12:00 PM.
Interment: Rock Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Repast: Rock Creek Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall

Public viewing will be held at the Henderson Funeral Services Chapel, 744 Brownlee Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.

Alton Jerome Stewart leaves to cherish his loving memories, his daughters, Emily Wylecia Spiller (Merrick), Shalonda Latrice Stewart (Handsom Grace), Ashley Monique Speights (Troy); grandchildren, Alshton Che'Paris Stewart (Katherine Jackson Stewart), Dallas Ryant Stewart, Aiden MaRyan Moore, Addison McKenzie Speights; great granddaughter, Alzariah J. Stewart; two siblings, Broderick Stewart and Cynthia Roberts; Mother-in-law, Emily S. Berry; Goddaughter, Walaysia Watts; Godsister, Janice Hendrix; In-Laws: Priscilla Smith, Wanda Mann, John David Berry, Dorothy Coleman, Tena Berry, Tania Berry, Darian Berry, Sr., Jacqueline Andrews (Dexter), Lindy Ingram, Stephanie Morgan (William), Tony Stodghill (Adrian). A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

I'll never forget that time Vita and Rink convinced me to ask "Bro" to drive his Cadillac and he said yes immediately! They were shocked and said "Daddy really letting you drive the Cadillac? He won't even let momma drive it!" 😂 So we took a quick drive through Indian Springs because I wanted to hurry and get that car back (as Rink complained that I knew nothing about "cruising"). 🤭I'm truly grateful that I had the opportunity recently to tell "Bro" how much that meant to me and for him to explain to me why he let me drive that day in the 90's. I'll always hold that memory close! We are forever #StewartStrong 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾 Love y'all Rink, Trece, Ashley, and the Fam

My sincere condolences to the family of Alton (Brother). We grew up in Rock Creek and our families (the Clarks & Stewarts) were very close. He will be missed, but I'm reminded of the scripture that assures us 'to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:8.
