Funeral services for Dr. Jerome A. Brown, 72, of 3198 Dibble Street, Orangeburg will be held 11:00am, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 2259 Rowesville Road, Orangeburg, SC, with interment to follow in Gethsemane Memorial Garden.
Dr. Brown will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Dr. Brown passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at MUSC Medical Center, Charleston.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 24, 2023, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.
Family and friends may visit 3198 Dibble Street, Orangeburg or call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg, SC.

I remember Dr. Brown as my ninth grade music teacher at Edisto High School, well over 20 yrs ago. He was a firm and no nonsense individual, but also funny, passionate and warm at the same time. Jerome was a wonderful person, I remember singing or trying to stay on key as he directed the choir at St Paul Baptist Church what beautiful memories. He will be missed. I was grateful to see him in September at my mom's home going service. Rest in Peace my brother!
