Obituary
Bobbye Wayne Dunnaway was born March 22, 1955, in Pahokee, Florida to the
late Mr. Benjamin Dunnaway and late Mrs. Willie Mae Dunaway.
“Jim” as he was
affectionately called by his family and the entire Pahokee community, was the
youngest of 16 children. He attended school in the Palm Beach County School
District, at East Lake Middle and Pahokee High Schools.
“Jim” loved entertaining family and friends by dancing and playing dominos at all
family social gatherings, he was always the life of the events.
“Uncle Jim” as he
was called by his nieces and nephews, loved his family, and he was loved by his
family!
A few years ago, Bobbye joined New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church,
Pahokee and was baptized by Pastor E.J. Maddox. He was later admitted to
Clewiston Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Clewiston, FL.
On Saturday morning, November 18, 2023, Bobbye departed this earthly life. He
was preceded in death by his parents, all four of his brothers and eight of his
sisters.
Precious memories will forever be cherished by his devoted 3 sisters, Dorothy
Dunnaway Brown, Bernice Quarrie (Joesph) and Doshia Carey, many loving nieces,
and caring nephews and a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins, other
family members and friends
