Obituary For Eloise Denson Still

Mrs. Eloise Denson Still “Sisterbaby” 84, was born August 26, 1939, to the late Harrison “Jack” and Mary Denson. Mrs. Still was married to the late Wiley Still, Jr. for 20 years until the Lord called him home, May 2, 1982. She was proceeded in death by one Daughter Deidra Denson, one Granddaughter, Danielle Griffin, five Brothers Clayton Denson Sr., Richard “Grady” Denson Sr., Charlie C. Denson, Harrison Denson, Jr., and Herman Denson; three Sisters Louise Postell, Cassie Grant, and Shirley Golden; two Sisters-in-law, Delores Denson and Ardie Denson.

Mrs. Still was educated in the Brooks County School System. At an early age she gave her life to CHRIST, she was a faithful member at Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed her. She was a pillar in the community, everyone was blessed by her presence!
She leaves to cherish in her memories, Her Children, Bruce (Trina) Naylor GA, Kenneth (Ann), Michelle (Jimmy), Wiley III (Jackie), Three Stepchildren, Jamie, Cassandra, and Marcus (Tammy) all of Quitman, GA. Four Godsons, Robby (Tawanna) Christian, Bobby Christian, Rufus (Barbara) Dunlap and Carl Denson all of Quitman, GA; One Brother, Willie James (Joyce) Golden, One Sister, Shirley (William) Hogan all of Valdosta, GA; Three Sisters-in-law, Mary Francis Denson, Quitman, GA, Daisy Mae Denson, Miami, FL, Lilly Denson, South Carolina; Six Grandchildren, Duanta (Carmeisha) Quitman, GA, Tykelia (Jeffery) Brown, Jacksonville FL, Eloise K. Still, Quitman, GA, Shakyra Still Quitman, GA, Wiley (Casey) Still, IV, Quitman, GA and Jamirya Still Quitman, GA; Six Great Grands, Jaylin, Jourdynn, Jaysin, Je’Lia Brown all of Jacksonville, FL and Tamaujia Hodges, Kynsley Halliburton of Quitman, GA. Special thank you to a caring and lovely neighbor Dorothy Denson.

Public Viewing: Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:00-6:00PM

Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Eloise Still will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Quitman, Georgia. Burial: North End Cemetery.
