Obituary For Mr. Jimmy Lee Ingram

Jimmy Lee Ingram, aka β€œPim”, transitioned from this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Hospice of the Piedmont, High Point, NC. Jimmy was born in Lilesville (Pee Dee), NC on April 12, 1951 to the late June Ingram and Lula Wall Ingram. Jimmy was also preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Ingram; one sister, Betty Rorie.

He attended both Anson County and Guilford County School systems and was an employee of Valspar as a mixer. Jimmy enjoyed watching football, he was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved socializing with family and friends.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his dear memories, his wife of 53 years, Shirley Ingram of the home; one son, Anthony Ingram of Atlanta, GA; two daughters, Melissa Watson and Betty Ingram, both of High Point, NC; ten grandchildren: Brittany, Christopher, Jessica, Ashley, Kenya, Christopher, Kia, Corey and Zoree, all of High Point, NC; two sisters: Daisy Ingram and Addie Douglas (Wallace), both of High Point, NC; five sisters-in-law: Vertie Ingram of High Point, NC, Rosia Chambers, Juretha Colson, Mary McLean (Howard), and Lisa Watson, all of Wadesboro, NC; two brothers-in-law: James Thomas Watson of New York, and William Watson (Olive) of Lilesville, NC; one uncle: Joe Wall of Wadesboro, NC; one aunt: Pearline Miller of High Point, NC; two special friends: Ned Pegues and Peanut of High Point, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
