Obituary For Millard Clinton Tucker

Millard Clinton Tucker, loving husband, father, and Papa, of Bowie, TX went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at the age of 86.


A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18th, at the Carter Lake Baptist Church, with Pastor Chris Osborne officiating


Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.


Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 17th, at the Carter Lake Baptist Church.


Millard was born March 12, 1937 in Bowie, Texas, to Phillip and Jeraldine Tucker. On September 2, 1960, he married Edwina Thayer-Tucker. They raised three children Trina, Robbie, and Lisa.


Millard was a devoted family man, Christian man, skilled crane operator, and proud veteran who dedicated his life to those he loved. His unwavering love for his family was a beacon of warmth and support. In both his professional endeavors, maneuvering cranes with precision, and his service to his country, he exhibited dedication and integrity. Above all, he cherished and took exceptional care of his beloved wife, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment that will forever be remembered. A true example for all young men, Millard will be remembered for his Christian values and the legacy of love and dedication he leaves behind.


He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip, his mother, Jeraldine, his siblings Phillip, Bill, Melton, and Joyce, and his son-in-law, Randy.


Millard is survived by his wife Edwina; his three children, Trina, Robbie and husband Kenneth, and Lisa and husband Carl; grandchildren, Clint and wife Kim, Melissa and husband Alonso, Sydney, Riley, Ellie, Macy, Jadyn, and Emily; and one great grandchild, Memphis.
