Mr. Michael Key, 64, of Salem, AL passed Monday, November 13, 2023 in Salem, AL.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Monday, November 20, 2023 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Smiths Station, AL with Rev. Jeffery McCauley, pastor and Rev. Leander Whitely, officiating. Visitation is Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12 - 4 p.m. EST.
Mr. Michael Key was born November 14, 1958 in Lee County, AL to the late Flem Key, Jr. and the late Josie Mae Grier Key. He was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, attended Smiths Station High School and served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death other than his parents by his wife, Brenda Key; sisters, Joyce K. Veals, Patricia K. Morgan and daughter, Shalome T. King.
He leaves to cherish his memories a brother, Donald (Rhonda) Key; four sisters, Linda (Edward) Peabody, Jo Alice Cook, Vernell Key and Jeanette Murray; grandmother, Sallie Grier; granddaughters, Xziya Turner and Euriah Turner; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
I'm deeply sorry for your loss, words can not express. But the Bible gives us hope and comfor lt to know real soon death will be done away with.
