On Monday, November 13, 2023, our heavenly Father reclaimed one of His beloved children. Mrs. Lillie Mae Miller Griffin. She was a native of Spartanburg County, SC and was bor on December 13, 1926 in Spartanburg County. She was the daughter of the late Moses Miller and Ethel Means Miller Bond and the widow of Sanders Lee Griffin.

Mrs. Lillie was a graduate from Carver High School and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years. She served as an Usher and as a member of Ward 5. She was also a member of the Charming Ladies Social Club.

Mrs. Lillie worked for Bold and Raycord Shirt Factory in Spartanburg, SC for a number of years and retired from Raycord.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her children Teresa Griffin and Faith Goodwin both of Spartanburg. SC; her Grandson James Goodwin of Spartanburg. SC; four Great-grand children: James A. Goodwin of Tennessee, Alexandra Sou (Rogger) of Spartanburg. SC, Kailynn Goodwin of Spartanburg. SC, Carter Goodwin of Tennessee; six Great-great-grandchildren: Israella and Xavion Goodwin of Tennessee; Omi, RJ and Emi Sou of Woodruff, SC; Marcel Gallman of Spartanburg. SC. And a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her brother Willie James Miller, two sisters. Inez Miller and Dr. Joyce Miller.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
