Mr. Willie Charles Everett, 73, of Nashville, Ga. transitioned this life Monday, November 13th at AU Medical Center in Augusta, Ga.

Public viewing will be on Friday, Nov. 17th at Southview Mortuary Chapel in Adel, GA from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Services will be held on Saturday, Nov 18th at Jacobs Well Church in Nashville, Ga. at 1:00 p.m.

Pops, you said you didn't see this coming, and neither did I. I can't even put into words the hurt that I feel. You spent a lot of years telling me how you aimed to make me proud of you. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROUD OF YOU and PROUD TO BE YOUR DAUGHTER! We all make bad decisions in life, it doesn't make us bad people. I couldn't tell you that enough. It seemed like the more I told you, the more you aimed to make me proud lol. This really caught me off guard. I really wish you were crying wolf this time. 😢😢😢😢😢 When you told me Friday, to come by so you can lay eyes on me one last time, I tried my best to convince you that it wouldn't be the last time. You kept this secret from me. You knew it would be the last time. I have spent 31 years of my life trying to make you proud of me, and I can truly say that it felt good to finally hear you say, that you were proud of me. I am so grateful that you got the opportunity to get right with God, before it was too late. Unfortunately, everyone won't get that opportunity. Saved In The Nick of Time. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH POPS.
