I was so sad when I read of Sarah Jane's death in the Times and Democrat tonight! We were friends, neighbors, and Wilkinson High School mats for many year. She was elegant and God=fearing. My funniest memory of Sarah Jane is when she began to "take company." Mrs. McDonald would call me on Sunday evenings to watch TV at her house.( My family hadn't bought a TV yet.) There I sat chaperoning Sarah. Her poor date never had a chance to get a hug or a kiss. We both went home at ten o'clock. I have so many wonderful memories of Sarah Jane and her parents. My sincere condolences to her children an family. Barbara Jean Tilly Graves

Cousin Sarah Jane was my oldest living cousin. When I would travel to Summerville with my wife to spend time with her family I would come to Orangeburg wometime to she and talk with her even when my Uncle and Aunt were living. Always welcomed me like old times. Going to miss her. She would also point me in the direction of family and friends so I could see time while I was there. RIP Cuz. You have earned your rest.

In Memory of Your Mother You were a precious gift from God above, so much beauty, grace and love. You touched our hearts in so many ways, your smile so bright even on the bad days. You heard God's whisper calling you home, you didn't want to go and leave us alone. You loved us so much, you held on tight, till all the stregnth was gone and you could no longer fight. He called your name, you knew you couldn't make him wait. So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away, knowing that with our love we will be together again some day. For my cousins from your cousins Opie & Rosalet
