Obituary For Mary Johnson
Johnson, Mrs. Mary, a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Friday, November 10, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11:00AM from Open Door Faith Worship Center(2450 President Dr), Pastor William Cromblin, officiating with a burial in Eastwood Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Johnson will lie in state on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley, and at Open Door Faith Worship Center on Saturday one hour prior to services.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

We send condolences to the Johnson family. We pray for peace, health and comfort to them as they embark on this journey without her. We ask that "Jesus will be a fence all around them every day." Mary was family, friend, neighbor, and a sweet and caring at person. She would often speak to Marilyn, her oldest daughter, and to me about career goals. I remember how proud she was after Marilyn and I graduated 6th grade at McDavid Elementary together. She was even prouder after we graduated BTW.
