Mr. Monar Bowers of Madison, Florida, but formerly of Marianna, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on November 6, 2023 in South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of the Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 3100 Little Zion Road in Sneads, Florida 32460 with the Reverend Eddie Bowers (pastor) officiating.

Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Marianna, Florida.

Mr. Bowers will lie in repose on the day of the service at the church from 10:00 AM until service time.

A public viewing will be held at Vann Funeral Home on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Four Brothers: Robert James Bowers, Jr., Pastor George (Verda) Bowers and Pastor Eddie (Sonya) Bowers all of Marianna, Florida; Reverend Danny (Karen) Bowers of Chattanooga Tennessee

Five Sisters: Rosa L. Pollock and Eara (Kevin) Brown both of Marianna, Florida; Carlean (Shedrick) Merritt of Clinton Township, Michigan; Loraine (Roosevelt) Hardy and Loretta Bowers both of Greenwood, Florida

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
