OBITUARY:

Elizabeth Coats affectionally known as “ Lil Bae” was born on August 6, 1960 in Tchula, MS to the late Pierce Coats and Katie Lee Patton. She received her education at the Holmes County School District. She departed her earthly life on November 6, 2023 at her residence in Tchula, MS.

Elizabeth Coats leaves to behind her daughter Shanika (Edwin ) Tolbert of Tuxedo, NY, Aaron Coats of Tchula, MS; 5 grandchildren (Edwin III, CJ, JT, Janaya, and Aaron Coats II) , 7 Brothers: Willie Rule, Charles Rule, Rubin Smith, Vernell Smith, Herman Coats, Pierce Coats, Clarence Coats; 2 sisters; Ruth (Edward) Toliver, Donna (Alton) Carter; 1 uncle, Clarence Harris; 1 aunt, Ethel Jefferson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
