Michael A. Kennedy, 66, transitioned from labor to reward October 27, 2023.

Preceded in death by parents: Elvinia Kennedy and James Kennedy Sr., siblings: Marilyn Flowers, James Kennedy Jr., Jackie Kennedy Cowens, Cousins: Leonard Hill, Kenneth Hill and Mary (Kitty) Hill.

Left to cherish his memories daughters: Esha Nolan, Michelle (Jody) Mynatt, ex-wife Trena Kennedy, Grandchildren: Ayauna Blair, Makenzie Kennedy and Jamel Mynatt, Great Grandchildren: Gabriel and Harmony, Devoted cousins: Pauline Lowery, Judy Page, Louise Moore, Laura Hill, Robert Hill, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, church, in-laws and devoted mother in-law Cheryl Hunter.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 4-4:30 with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Cherry St. Church of GOD with Bishop Zach Flack officiating.

It was so sad to hear that my good friend Mike had passed. We worked at the Hyatt together for many years and considered Mike an excellent Chef and someone you could count on. Mike and I would surprise each other with a phone call and would catch up on family and friends. My heart goes out to the family.. you may remember me as OC or the ridge runner. I will miss him and our conversations. God bless you all.
