Mack Charles, as we affectionately called him throughout his life was one great man. I've known him since headstart and we remained close friends (closer than brothers at times) all along the way. I could share some special moments and stories of Mack Charles, many of which, (shhh!) will go to heaven with me. That's my dude. We were Boys back in the day. That's my brother! As often as I could visit home, from time to time we could connect and laugh and reminisce about the days of old. Our country bumkin lives were very special and I quotidian live just like that all over again. We are the best men we are because of dem G-Town streets. I was very ecstatic when I learned that Mack had joined our family in choosing my beautiful cousin, Angela Faye, as his wife. The two of them would become inseparable and produce two very beautiful children. Mack loved and trained DeMarius (DR Dix) to be smart, wise, strong, daring, confident, friendly, responsible, an investor and all other qualities Mack Charles possessed. I was also elated when I learned that Mack Charles had joined myself and others in the gospel ministry. He always had that gift of gab and I know the Lord would make great and effective use of his talents and willingness. Our community has suffered a great loss. Although it is often said that nothing is lost if you know where it is, amen to that. But no matter how you slice it, Mack Charles' passing is the greatest of losses to the communities and countless hearts and lives which he endeared himself to; his close friends (to me), a great loss to his family (to me), his sisters and brothers & in-laws; and especially to his wife and children. Family, I regret that I can't be there with you at Mack's homegoing. Still recovering from a recent 10.31 surgery. Not quite as young as I once was and don't recover so fast anymore. But let me conclude by saying that Mack's work in this earthly realm is done. He fought the good fight. He has finished his course. Until the end, Mack kept the faith. His life will be remembered for ages to come through his friends and family. His love will bw sustained and be displayed through his wife for the rest of her life and his legacy will live on through his children and their future generations forever. Finally, in the words of Smokey Robinson, "I'm gonna miss you, my friend". Love you, Bro. Rest, my Brother, rest peacefully, JONES, (Wardell Jones)

Mack Dixon, our dear neighbor, left an indelible mark on our hearts. His love for cars was matched only by his unwavering friendliness and boundless generosity. In our tight-knit community, Mack was a guardian angel, always watchful and considerate. He would readily extend a helping hand to our elderly neighbors, ensuring their safety and well-being, never hesitating to remind us if a garage door was left ajar or lights were left aglow. His kindness was a guiding light in our neighborhood. Mack's green thumb was a marvel, and his watermelons were legendary. He knew of our fondness for melons and made certain we had our share of his delicious harvests. A provider for his family, Mack exemplified the virtues of dedication and faith. He leaves us with a legacy of love, care, and Christian values that will continue to inspire us. Though we feel his absence deeply, let us take comfort in the knowledge that Mack's spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts. May his memory be a wellspring of encouragement and strength to his beloved family. With deepest sympathy and warmest regards, Bobbie Grammar
