Obituary For Paul W. Lee, Sr.

OPELOUSAS – A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Paul Wayne Lee, Sr., 47, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 22, 2023 in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be held in Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.

Pastor Clarence Lazard, Pastor of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, will be officiating the memorial service.

Mr. Lee was a 1996 graduate of West Brook High School, Beaumont, Texas.

He was a Serviceman of United States Marine Corp and Retired Serviceman of the United States Army. Mr. Lee was also a graduate with two Associate Degrees in Computer Science and Process Operation at Remington College-Lafayette, La.

Mr. Lee's memories are being cherished by: his children, Derrick Raeshaun Lee of Cypress, Texas, Paul Wayne Lee, Jr of Opelousas, La. & Joseph (Demonica) Romar, III of Opelousas, La. and one daughter, Marienna Faye Lee of Opelousas, La., Grandchildren; JaLaya Romar & Joseph Romar, IV of Opelousas, La. wife LaTasha Lee of Opelousas, La. and his father, Gerald Johnson of Alexandria, La. Godchildren, Emmitt and Emily Gilmore of Beamont, Texas, Catherine Slaughter-Benson of Lanett, Alabama and and Harley Ray Paul Banks of Beaumont, Texas a host of nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, cousins, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Myrtle Faye Lee, Grandmother Wanda Young Lee & Grandmother/Great-Aunt Lue Wilda Young Mitchell.

Visitation among family and friends will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funerall Home.
