Donovan Lamont Couch sadly departed this world on October 26,2023. Donovan, often referred to as Donnie, was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on June 14, 1973 to Anna Couch and Chester Webster. He graduated from Ben L. Smith High School in 1992 and later attended Central Piedmont Community College and Park West Barber School.

Donnie was known for his skilled ability to do anything with his hands. He continued to work with his hands through DC Customs until his death and built many things that will continue to carry his memory.

He was also known for putting a smile on your face with his jokes and stories. A man of compassion, depth, and resilience, Donovan held a unique presence that will be profoundly missed. His ability to touch lives is second only to his capacity to inspire those around him.

In the wake of Donovan's passing, we find solace in our memories and the enduring love that persists. Donovan's light continues to shine through his children and all the lives he touched.

Donnie was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Greene and his grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Anna Couch Greene and his father, Chester Webster; five daughters, Veronica Moore, Nakiyha Dumas, Charielle Couch, Skyla-Rose Couch, Dakotah Couch,
and one son, Donovan Couch, Jr.; two sisters Ashleigh Johnson (Barry) and Demetria Dabney, and two brothers, Chester Webster Jr. and Charles Greene Jr.; two grandchildren Janayia Rucker and Brooklyn
Wise; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A service honoring his life will be held on November 7, 2023 at 12:00 pm at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. 408 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Greensboro, NC.
Visitation begins at 11:30am.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. 3901 Forest Lawn Drive, Greensboro, NC 27455
