MR. JOHN LEE WILLIAMS, son of the late Gene Williams and the late Lucille Fields Williams was born October 15, 1957 in Brunswick County, VA and departed this life October 24, 2023 in MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. He was also preceded in death by his siblings- James Richard, Lloyd Truman and Lutticia Williams.

John attended Central Senior High School. He was baptized and joined Little Mount Baptist Church in Alberta, VA. He was employed in several jobs in his life time and to name a few, Butler Lumber Company, Hardy Manufacturing Company, pulpwood and farming until he became disabled.

In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, fishing, music, watching wrestling on TV and family and friends.

John is survived by four children- Syreta Fowlkes-Cox and Byron Fowlkes, both of Victoria, VA; Jervon Fowlkes of Chase City, VA and Kyandrea Fowlkes of Victoria, VA; 13 grandchildren; one sister- Mary Williams of Victoria, VA; aunt- Gloria Williams of Dundas, VA; devoted nephews- Robert and Issac Williams of Chase City, VA and David Williams of South Hill, VA; devoted nieces- LaToya Benjamin of Victoria, VA; Wanda Hurt of Chase City, VA and Denise Edmonds of Drake Branch, VA, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
