Tony Dale Miller, Sr. was born on April 24, 1968, to Maggie Price and the late Joe Miller in High Point, NC. He made his earthly departure on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. In addition to his father, Tony was preceded in death by his stepfather, Edwin Price “Turk”; maternal grandparents, Lillian Bennett and Lonnie Bennett; paternal grandparents, Sarah S. Miller and Willie P. Miller.
After graduating from Thomas Wingate Andrews, Tony went on to become a truck driver at Keystone Trucking and worked for Quality Building Service in the family business to carry out his father’s legacy.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Everyone that knew Tony was touched by his infectious smile, wittiness, and great sense of humor.
Tony leaves his legacy to be continued by his three children, Tony Dale Miller, Jr. (Quana), Maurlon Miller (Symmantha), Sierra Miller (Kahleel); sisters, Johanna (Donnichee) Legrande, Tonya Fields, Sarah Graham; two brothers, Robert (Debbie) Bennett, Jeffrey Miller; one uncle, John Bennett; one aunt, Mary Leonard Gibson; seven grandchildren, Ty’Shaun Miller, Khyree Hudson, Serenity McCall, Trinity McCall, McKinsley Beck, Nolah Beck, and Kamyrn Beck; god-sister, Shacakthan Smith, special cousins, Leroy and Benjamin Simmons; and a host of friends and family to include nieces, nephews, and a special brotherly bond with his longtime friends, Pridell McCormick, Cedric Hale, Clinton Jones, Rodney Parker and many more.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Williams Memorial CME Church. Entombment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
