Obituary For Perry Martin Jr.

Martin, Mr. Perry, A residence of Albany, Ga formerly of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on October 21, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 3:00PM est at the Oakridge Baptist Church, Albany, Georgia with a burial on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Eastwood Memorial Gardens, Montgomery, AL.

Mr. Martin will lie in state on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 12-6PM at Phillips-Riley Chapel.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Martin Family during the transition of Mr. Perry Martin, Jr." Mickey" was a really nice guy growing up in the Homeview neighborhood. He was always the same-kept a smile and respectful. He was good at every sport he played. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Perry,Sr. & Mrs. Bertha Martin will also be missed. May God bless you all. To My entire family especially his wife Rose, Siblings:Linda, Rose, Shari, Leslie and the children, My sincere condolences to each of you during this difficult loss in our lives. He was will truly be missed by all of us.
